Can anyone register for and use PayActiv?

Unfortunately, you can only register and use PayActiv, if your employer offers the PayActiv Financial Wellness benefit. If you are unsure about your eligibility, please contact your Manager or HR Team and obviously if your employer doesn’t yet offer PayActiv we would welcome the opportunity to discuss the service – no obligations. The PayActiv Team can be contacted on 0423117238 or email hello@payactiv.com.au

If I join PayActiv, do I have sign up to an annual contract?

When you join PayActiv you do sign a basic agreement however it is not time bound and you can cancel/leave at any time. There is no fee to join PayActiv and no nasty exit fees if you decide to leave PayActiv. You can cancel your PayActiv membership at any time. There is no cost to leave however any outstanding Transactions/pay accessed will obviously need to be paid back.

Can I check my available balance?

Yes. Simply log in to the PayActiv App and in the Main Menu you will see your Available Balance at the top of the screen, together with any Pay Accessed to date.

How long will it take for the penny test to credit to my account?

PayActiv is reliant on the Australian Banking System to process transactions and while we would love funds to be in your account instantaneously, unfortunately the banks aren’t just that fast yet…however we are hoping the New Payments Platform (a bank and government lead initiative) will speed things up when introduced in January 2018.

Ordinarily if you make a request to link a bank account Monday to Friday before 6pm AEST, funds should be credited to your linked bank account on the same day.

If you transact post 6pm, Monday to Thursday, funds will be in your bank account the next day.

If you transact post 6pm on a Friday or a Saturday or Sunday, funds will be credited to your account on the Monday.

How much does it cost to transact?

It costs a $5 Membership Fee every time you transact. If you transact more than once in a 24-hour period, your Transaction requests will be amalgamated into one amount and you will only be charged one Transaction/Membership Fee.

Can I change my linked bank account?

Yes. Simply log into the PayActiv App. Click on Bank Transfer in the Main Menu and then click on ADD NEW BANK at the bottom of the screen. Now add the details of your Financial Institution and hit Save.

To ensure that the correct Bank Account has been linked to your PayActiv Account, we will undertake a ‘penny test’ whereby we will deposit a small amount into your account. You in turn must enter this amount when prompted when you log back into the PayActiv App to complete the Bank Account linking process. You are then ready to Transact.

Is there a minimum and maximum amount I can withdraw?

Subject to your available balance, the minimum amount you can withdraw is $60 and the maximum is $1000. The amount you are able to withdraw increases in increments of $10.

Your available balance will increase as you advance through your pay cycle to a maximum of $1000.

Forgotten your Username and/or Password

Simply open the PayActiv App and on the Login screen you will see a button Forgot Password at the bottom of the screen.

Can I update my details with a new mobile number, personal email address and/or postal address?

Yes. Simply log in to the PayActiv App, click on the Menu bar (Top Left), click on My Profile and then click on the Edit button. Now you can update any personal details you chose.

When can I transact?

Subject to your employer offering PayActiv, successfully linking your nominated bank account to your PayActiv Account and available funds, you can transact immediately.

How often can I transact?

Subject to your available balance you are free to transact as often as you like. We would however stress that PayActiv is aimed as occasional emergency use, as opposed to everyday use. Also, please be mindful that that each transaction attracts a $5 Transaction/Membership fee – which can obviously add up with frequent use.
